Images of Mexico

A glimpse into Mexico's Past and Present
April 7th, 2025

During the current academic year, HUMAS has sought to become a forum for voices traditionally underrepresented in Mexico and in academic forums such as Harvard. As part of this effort, we have organized a two-part event titled “Images of Mexico. A glimpse into Mexico’s Past and Present.”

In the first part of the event, we will have a conversation with three distinguished Mexican activists and scholars.

Their  talk will serve as an introduction for the opening of an exhibition showcasing 35 posters created by Mexican students in collaboration with the design departments of IBERO University, the Universidad Autónoma de México (UAM), and the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. The poster exhibition encapsulates pressing social and political issues in Mexico.
